No, I haven't plunged into ungrateful, nonjoyful darkness.
I went to Disneyland!! Seriously. It was great and wonderful. But it's also nice to be back home, a little less stimulating which is joyful to me today :-)

I'm going to have to come up with a great big post of my top joyful moments while vacationing...but not today. Today is all about today.

*Laying on the guestroom bed falling asleep after dinner 20 seconds after laying down. Waking up (only out for about 10 minutes) to Emily's sweet voice telling me to "stay awake" and watching her bouncy curls climb over the top of the bed. Hearing her giggle and snuggle up to my open arms. She kissed my nose and giggled some more. I couldn't help but to smile and feel loved.

*Having my boys home. It was nice to be back and to unpack. It was nice to have my family around me for one more day before I have to send 'em back to school.

*Having the boys work on some extra school work since I let them stay home. Matthew is doing so much better at this numbers!! I made Justin write two book reports on the books he read while we were gone. He did a really good job. I liked helping them today.

*watching Justin work diligently on his Lego Buzz Lightyear he chose. He worked over an hour without stopping. It was wonderful to see his face when he finished it, and to sense his feeling of pride that he completed something all on his own. I just want to squeeze him.

*Klint coming down the floor (where I currently was) to hold me. My body aches from this new cold and he just held me (until I started coughing so much he had to let go). His arms are my favorite place to be...Texas....California....wherever, as long as he's holding me I'm ok and happy.
