Funny, it isn't the fact that I have two adorable children, and one on the way, or that one will be starting school next fall! It isn't the fact that I've been married over six years, graduated from college, or live over 900 miles from any family. It isn't the fact that I'm getting a few laugh lines, or that my husband is (gasp!) almost 30. What really made me feel old where these.

This past weekend I went and picked up my very first pair of glasses. I have always had perfect 20/15 or 20/20 vision, but alas I'm getting old. It's amazing now that when I wear them everything looks more sharp. Funny how much I didn't notice it until I put the glasses on. It's like I was looking through a dirty lens, and now I've windexed it and can see more clearly. How's that for a Hobbs' analogy ;-). I'm still not wearing them all the time, I don't think my eyes are that bad yet, but it helps. I'm old.

Ah the joys of corrective lenses. Something I've had the pleasure of using since 4th grade. Welcome! ;-)
Hey, is it that exact pair of glasses? They are cute and different. So if anything, they will make you look (and maybe feel) younger. That's always exciting!
