I have to start off admitting that I am intimdated to blog. My husband is rather witty with his posts, and my writing isn't nearly as enjoyable as his is, but I'm trying nonetheless ;-)
This week in school -I'm teaching Justin preschool since we didn't really know/trust any good preschools when we moved here-- we are learning all about the letter D. (homeschool aaaahhh!)Today was dinosaurs and what a blast. We had lots of fun activites, but the highlight had to be going to the Texas Tech Musuem and seeing all the dinosaur fossils. I was impressed that Justin could tell which dinosaurs were plant eaters and which ones ate the plant eaters by looking at their teeth. I was even more impressed that Matthew restrained his 2 year old curiosity and didn't touch any of the exhibits. Overall a very fun trip. Hopefully we'll be welcomed back next time we decide to pay a visit, we weren't supposed to use flash photography, and I thought I had turned the flash off but when I snapped the shot (right in front of the security guard who two minutes earlier told me I had to turn off the flash before any pictures) a lovely bright light bounced off all the museum's walls. Oops, better luck figuring out the camera next time.
Notice the lovely cowboys boots and shorts on Matthew--what a Texan.

I did love the cowboy boots and shorts. I'm heading to Texas next month for a conference. I'm excited to see if all you've been writing about it true regarding the state.
Yay for dinosaurs! We actually went to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point for the first time last week. The girls had a blast. I took some pics of the fall leaves for you! I'll send you an email with a few of them and I'll be adding a new blogpost soon. Love ya!
