7/20/11

*kissing Klint passionately goodbye. He's left for Youth Conference this morning. He won't be back until Saturday night. Oh I love that man. We've been married nearly 10 years, and this will be the longest we've been away from each other. I'm happy about that. I love him so much.

*feeling at peace that Klint's gone. Not jealous or bitter, having real peace that he's supposed to be with the Youth and that he has a mighty important talk to give them. Knowing that my husband loves his Savior and Heavenly Father enough to fulfill his calling and priesthood duty. To take three days off of work (missing a critical work meeting that I know must bother him), to leave his slightly (exaggeration) pregnant yet beautiful (wink..wink) wife and three always well behaved children, to go camping. Camping. Klint despises camping. There is little else he would enjoy less. Seriously. Maybe outpatient surgery..but that's up in the air. But he willingly and without a single complaint agreed to go, because he has a testimony of this gospel. The gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I couldn't ask for a better example for myself or for my kiddos.

*Getting a very unexpected short phone call (supposed to be no service) from him telling me he was ok, and that it was raining (dirty dog) when he got there.

*My wonderful, beautiful Nana coming to stay with us while Klint was gone. She completely spoiled us today. It just feels so nice to have her here with us. I love her and miss her so much. Thank you Nana. Thank you.
