It was Justin's birthday yesterday (more to come about that in a later post). One of the presents he received from his Nana and Grandpa Libby was a game called "Whac-a-mole". However, upon opening it he explained gleefully "Yes! I got whac-a-prairie dog!"
For those of you who haven't had the fortunate (and exciting!) opportunity to visit West Texas we have prairie dogs....and more prairie dogs...and more prairie dogs. Any open field is full of mounds with prairie dogs stickin' their fat little heads out. Infact, Lubbock has one of the worldest largest colonies of prairie dogs--how's that for being famous?!? So you know you live in west Texas when you're newly-turned-5 year old recognizes the age old game of whac-a-mole as whac-a-prairie dog.

I don't even know what a prairie dog looks like. So Justin has a one-up on me there. And that feet picture in the top right corner of your blog is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I find myself thinking about it during the day, almost thinking I need a baby so I can do a cute picture like that!!!
