General conference is here already! We just finished watching the morning session (we are so blest to have the internet) and my heart is full. I want to share my testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. Today I got to stand beside my husband and my two sweet boys (Emily was sleeping--big surprise) and sustain a new prophet, Thomas S. Monson. As I lifted my arm to the square my heart was burning as were my eyes. I have prayed to know if President Monson is infact a prophet of God, and this morning I received my answer, he is. It sounds so simple when I type it, yet I find it deeply profound.
It was humbling that right before conference began Justin (remembering from a Family Home Evening we had) reminded us to say a prayer to know if President Monson was a true prophet, and to know if what the speakers said were things Jesus wanted us to know. Out of the mouth of babes.
I am excited to watch the three other sessions. I love the spirit I feel in my heart when I hear these men and women speak.

We loved watching the morning session too! And I had the same burning in my heart and tears in my eyes as I stood and raised my hand to sustain the prophet and leaders of the church! It was so neat to know that members of the church all over the world were doing exactly the same thing... standing in their homes and churches and raising their hands in support of the prophet. The gospel is such a beautiful, wonderful thing!
