This morning Matthew and I had some issues about cleaning. Truth be told, Matthew had issues with me about him cleaning up. About 10 minutes after the inital disagreement, Matthew said to me:
"Mom, the Holy Spirit is telling me I need to clean up now."
Me- shocked, then inspired and happy.
Matthew- "Yeah, I think I need to clean up right now. I don't want to make Heavenly Father angry."
Me- "I don't think Heavenly Father would be angry with you, maybe just a little sad you didn't listen. Let's clean up. That's a great idea."
Matthew valiantly picked up a DVD (at this point I'm giving myself high fives and pats on the back) and took three steps before he said this:
"Mom, I think the Holy Spirit is telling me he changed his mind and that I don't have to clean up anymore."
"Mom, I think the Holy Spirit is telling me he changed his mind and that I don't have to clean up anymore."
hmmmmm....

That is too cute. And that picture of Matthew is way cute. It's amazing how kids try to get out of cleaning up.
...and just when you think they're getting it. :) That photo is adorable!
