I haven't posted on President Hinckley's death, but after watching this clip (thanks Lani!), I too (along with the millions of others) would like to express my gratitude. I am truly grateful for President Hinckley's example. I am grateful he dedicated his life to the service of others, and to the service of his, and mine, Savior. I am grateful that this marvelous work will continue, despite losing one of it's most stalwart examples and disciple. I know this because I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, is the one who leads and directs the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I hope to pay honor to President Hinckley's name, and to my Savior, by being more faithful.
I have this quote framed, and it has inspired and motivated to me for the last 6 years:
I feel to invite women everywhere to rise to the great potential
within you. I do not ask that you reach beyond your capacity. I hope you
will not nag yourselves with thoughts of failure. I hope you will not try
to set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. I hope you will simply do
what you can do in the best way you know. If you do so, you will
witness miracles come to pass.
Thank you President Hinckley.
